As the first drone-in-a-box solution offered by DJI, the introduction of DJI Dock has been a game changer for the industry and a significant step towards achieving true autonomy in drone operations. Companies looking to establish or expand their drone programs can reduce the learning curve by using the DJI Dock, which allows them to perform fully automated drone operations remotely.

Designed to be deployed in difficult-to-reach locations, each dock houses a DJI Matrice 30T dock edition aircraft that lands, recharges, takes off, and completes the mission as programmed without the need for human intervention. The DJI Matrice 30T combines the strengths of the Matrice 300 RTK and H20 series, as well as the portability of the Mavic 2 Enterprise series, to create a new powerful, compact, and foldable platform.

Featuring a multi-sensor camera unit with high-resolution wide-angle and zoom cameras, as well as a laser rangefinder and thermal imaging (Matrice 30T only). One of the key features of the DJI Dock is its ability to operate unattended outdoors for extended periods. To accomplish this, DJI engineers implemented a variety of waterproof and dustproof designs that were rigorously tested to achieve the IP55 protection rating. Furthermore, the DJI Dock was subjected to reliability tests to ensure its ability to withstand extreme environmental conditions.

A rugged and reliable drone charging station with a total charging time of just 25 minutes, the DJI docking station is designed to conduct operations 24x 7 in all weather conditions whether stormy or extremely sunny as it supports active temperature control for fast charging and drone safety. The DJI Dock allows the Matrice 30 series (dock edition) to perform fully autonomous, repeatable missions with very little operator involvement.

Key Features:

  • Fast Recharging – The DJI M30 will automatically charge in its dock and will be ready to fly just 25 minutes after landing. Fully charged, the M30 flies for 40 minutes.
  • Waterproof Design – The Dock is rated IP55 and the core internal components IP67, make it waterproof and dustproof even when it is open. The M30 Series Dock Version has a max wind resistance of 15 m/s and an IP55 rating.
  • Versatile Data Capture: The M30 Series Dock Version integrates wide, zoom, and thermal cameras (M30T only) with a laser rangefinder.
  • Environmental Adaptability – The M30 Dock’s interior is climate controlled for safe charging temperatures, even when the outside climate is -35°C to 50°C.
  • 4G Connectivity – Dock connectivity can be expanded with an optional external 4G dongle.
  • Emergency Power Supply – In case of a power outage, the Dock’s internal battery will take over and keep the dock operational to make sure the M30 lands from its mission.
  • Integrated Design: The Dock is packed with highly-integrated hardware, improving functionality. This includes a wide-angle security camera, integrated weather station, internal omnidirectional antenna, RTK module, and edge computing expansion slot.
  • Cloud API: Cloud API opens up Dock functionality to developers and system integrators, who can set up a custom, private server.
